2018 NOAA Environmental Data Management Workshop (EDMW) Apr 23-24, 2018 - DoubleTree Hotel, 8727 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring MD 20910
The EDMW 2018 theme is "Improving Discovery, Access, Usability, and Archiving of NOAA Data for Societal Benefit." The workshop builds on past work by providing training, highlighting progress, identifying issues, fostering discussions, and determining where new technologies can be applied for management of environmental data and information at NOAA. All NOAA employees and contractors are welcome, including data producers, data managers, metadata developers, archivists, researchers, grant issuers, policy developers, program managers, and others. Attendance is limited to 200 persons because of venue constraints; non-NOAA collaborators will be able to attend on a space-available basis.
